Valence Hospitality is looking for a dynamic and experienced Captain Waitress to lead our front-of-house team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-end dining service, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the dining area, ensuring a high standard of service.
- Lead and train a team of waitstaff to provide exceptional customer service.
- Greet and seat guests, take and process orders, and handle any special requests or dietary needs.
- Monitor table settings and ensure timely and accurate service.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in creating and updating the restaurant’s service standards and protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the dining area and service stations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a waitress or in a similar role, with at least 1 year in a leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service in a fine dining environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food and beverage offerings and proper service techniques.
