As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests by handling transactions efficiently and providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Handling

  • Process guest payments accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuring all payments are accounted for and properly documented.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, or change due to customers as necessary.

Customer Service

  • Greet guests warmly as they approach the cash register and address any inquiries they may have.
  • Resolve guest complaints or issues in a professional manner, escalating to management when necessary.

Order Management

  • Process online orders efficiently, ensuring all details are accurately entered and communicated to the kitchen staff. Handle any issues or inquiries related to online deliveries and ensure timely preparation and dispatch of orders.
  • Ensure orders are accurately entered into the POS system and communicated to the kitchen staff.

Accuracy and Efficiency

  • Maintain a balanced cash drawer, ensuring no discrepancies.
  • Conduct end-of-shift cash counts and report any discrepancies to the manager.
  • Maintain accuracy in cash handling and adherence to established procedures.

Cleanliness and Organization

  • Keep the cashier station clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Ensure the display of promotional materials at the cashier station is up-to-date and appealing.

Team Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with other restaurant staff to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.
  • Assist in other areas of the restaurant as needed.


  • Previous experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant or retail setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
