Key Responsibilities

Guest Interaction

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.

Order Management

• Communicate orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
• Monitor tables and attend to guests’ needs throughout their dining experience.
• Ensure accuracy in order delivery and handle any special requests or dietary restrictions.

Customer Service

• Provide attentive and courteous service to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Address and resolve any guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Create a welcoming and positive dining atmosphere.

Table Maintenance

• Ensure tables are clean, tidy, and properly set up before guests are seated.
• Clear and reset tables after guests leave, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with the preparation and organization of dining areas.

Payment Processing

• Present bills, process payments, and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Use the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process orders and payments.
• Ensure proper handling of credit card transactions and maintain accuracy in billing.

Team Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure efficient service.
• Assist with food running, drink preparation, and other tasks as needed.
• Support team members during busy periods to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations is a plus.
